Hi, I’m Brittney! 

Welcome to Bear Beginnings Family Childcare! I’m so happy you’re here.

I’m the owner and provider of Bear Beginnings, a licensed family childcare program in Lawndale serving children ages 3 months to 4 years.

Working with children has been a passion of mine for over 10 years. Before opening Bear Beginnings, I spent many years caring for infants and toddlers as a nanny and babysitter. Those experiences taught me that every child deserves to feel safe, loved, understood, and celebrated for exactly who they are.

For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of serving families through Bear Beginnings, creating a warm, home-like environment where children can play, explore, build confidence, and grow at their own pace.

I’m also recently became a Certified Doula, specializing in postpartum care . This training has expanded my knowledge of newborn care, infant development & supporting families during the early months.

As a small group, I’m able to truly get to know each child and provide individualized care based on their developmental stage. Our days are filled with stories, music, singing, outdoor play, sensory activities, and simple early learning experiences included in our everyday routines.

One of my favorite parts of this job is watching little milestones happen, from first steps and first words to seeing children become more confident, curious, and independent each day.

I know how much trust it takes to leave your child with someone else. That’s why I treat every child in my care with the same patience, kindness, and attention I would want for my own family. My goal is for Bear Beginnings to feel like a second home where children are excited to come each morning and where parents have peace of mind knowing their little one is loved, safe, and well cared for.
